Soft Glam Makeup Will Be the Must-Have of the Moment
A natural base, delicate image, with a subtle flush on the cheeks—the focal point remains the coquette makeup style, characterized by this not-so-subtle blush effect, with rosy cheeks and a nose as if kissed by the first sun. This is also part of the so-called Douyin makeup trend.
Ribbons, pearls, and glossed lips—either natural or cherry-colored—give a doll-like appearance, echoing manga-inspired trends from the East, where the focus is on languid gazes and well-defined, tufted lashes.
Mascara is making a comeback, in abundance and in various colors. From runway looks to everyday makeup, it’s important to master precise lines. Graphic makeup, in black or color, will be trending, while we’ve also borrowed the monochromatic makeup style from the runway—a single shade applied across the entire look, using different tonal variations. Glossy effects and, especially, holograms for highlighting should not be overlooked.
For a stronger, perhaps evening look, we’ll go for the messy girl or grunge makeup style: deconstructed smoky eyes and nude lips.
The 2000s trend revived is the white eyeshadow—a completely pale or pastel eyelid paired with graphic eyeliner. From that era, we also brought back frosty lips, with a “frozen” or pearly effect, giving lips a mirrored finish.
